  Ant legal recourse?

  hello everyone, if the elders start hounding someone to attend a judicial committee meeting is there any legal recourse that someone can take to make them back off?

  i know that sometimes they will just at the threat of it.

  thoughts?.

  does anybody know what this message will contain ?

  is it designed to provoke a response that will bring persecution on the religion ?

  or is it just going to be some meaningless weak campaign to get the rank and file all excited about it and achieving nothing.. or is it going to suggest to the government officials that this mob could very well be the next jonestown /wacol incident and we need to act now.

  so i was observing an online conversation between a jw and a former-jw.

  the non-jw pointed out that wwi cant have had anything to do with satan supposedly being "cast out of heaven" because wwi was already well under way in oct 1914.. the jw proceeds to explain that satan was actually thrown down to the earth in 1915 and that he started to wreak havock on the earth from heaven knowing he was about to be cast out.. so 1914 is officially old light now?

  does anyone have a source for that or was this brother lying through his teeth?.

  In all fairness e very translator has a bias to belief. That well known john 1:1 has a comment in some bibles that they inserted "the" to fit the trinity teaching.

  some believe protesters have the “right” to block main roads, traffic and other places simply because they have a right to protest something.. in la, two deputies were ambushed and shot in the head and as the ambulance tried to take the fallen deputies to the emergency room, protesters blocked the way chanting they wished the police would die!

  in nyc blm protesters blocked the george washington bridge and other major highways and streets to protest for their cause.. do you think this is acceptable?

  "I still miss it Dad" My 41 Year Son Admitted

  on the 18th of september i turned in my disassociation letter in to the tigard congregation, 19 years ago.. my son turned in his letter in november 2001, 19 years ago shortly after me.

  he was 21 years old.. two days ago we were working together on a wrap for his a/c unit on his bus.. out of blue, he says "i still miss it dad.

  We are outsiders. Not in any more but having a paucity of secular experiences in our formative years think xmas, birthdays, military, Halloween. Even if we fudged (my mother sent me to b days. We did haloween) there was a background guilty feeling.

  potential truthiness?.

  the comedian stephen colbert wrote a book, "truthiness".truthiness is the belief or assertion that a particular statement is true based on the intuition or perceptions of some individual or individuals, without regard to evidence, logic, intellectual examination, or facts.. to me, this perfectly defines the term: potential.as in "potentially true" or "potentially lying.".

  such labels poison relationships destroying reputations.potential labels are subtle and also just under the radar of committing libel or defamation legally.. that key word is "potential" positing a shadowy inference, suspicion, propaganda point.do you feel me?do you understand the point i'm making?.

  Interesting. fake news may be new, but yellow journalism is old. FB ( to me) is leftist. The bigger problem is low information consumers. There are few black and white issues, mostly we have to pick our favorites but then should think through the outcome. Example: welfare should be a safety net for all us, but has become a way of life, then the opposers call all welfare recipients lazy. Once upon a time the charity was the domain of churches. Now we have so much mobility there is no community
